USSF Testing and Registration
USSF 2012 testing and registration for 2012 is different this year. Please read this whole email before starting the process. Testing will be online and registration will require printing out both the USSF registration form and the WASRC form.

TESTING:

Online testing for 2012 registration is now at your personal computer! It is available in both English and Spanish. The test itself is very easy to take.

Log on the WASRC site www.wasrc.org
Click on REFEREE
Click on EDUCATION
Click on EXAM
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS
Click on "start the exam"

Instructor: You may select any instructor

If you don't pass the test with a 75% (Grade 7, 5, & 15 need 85%)or better you have to wait to retest. If you have a problem with the test or if you do not get at least 75%, contact the instructor that you named or email Tim Epps tim.epps@comcast.net

To re-certify you can mail all the paperwork(see below) with a check for the appropriate amount to:

To complete the registration you will need the following:

WA State Re-certification form, electronic version printed from the WASRC site. Obtain the WASRC form by logging on to the WASRC site, Click on Referee then Education then Training then the Acrobat Reader Format icon. You may use a paper copy completed by hand (you will not receive a badge until your test score is verified): http://www.wasrc.org/documents/recertification.pdf.

Registration Fee - A check (payable to WSRC) or cash, The Fee Schedule is as follows:
- $50 (Grade 8)
- $55.00 (Grade 7)
- $85.00 (Grade 5 &6)
- $10.00 (Assignor)
- $40.00 (Assessor Grade 9)
- $45.00 (Assessor Grade 7)
- $75.00 (Assessor Grade 5 & 6)
- $40.00 (Instructor Grade 9)
- $45.00 (Instructor Grade 7)
- $75.00 (Instructor Grade 5 & 6)

The above Process applies to everyone currently registered for 2009, 2010 or 2011. To remain certified, you must complete this process BEFORE December 31, 2011. If you attended a Entry Level Clinic in June, July, or August as a NEW REFEREE, then you are already certified for 2012 and do not have to follow this process until this time next year. If you are not sure, check your profile on the WASRC web site.

Skagit Entry Level Clinic - Burlington
Skagit entry Level Clinic

It's a ways off, but plan ahead! New referees register and current referees spread the word.

Entry Level Referee Grade 8: If you are interested in becoming a referee, this is the place to start. This course will teach you the Laws of the Game and prepare you for referee certification. After the clinic, there will be a 100 question, true/false and multiple choice test. Attendance of all sessions is required to take the test.

Cost and Fee Information
$35.00. Registration for this course is $35. After passing the test there will be an additional $50 fee to register with USSF.

February Monthly Meeting
Skagit Soccer Referee February Monthly Meeting

Referee instructor Brandon Harms will be presenting on Command Presence. We will have trivia, prizes, and lots of group activities.
